Manu Bhaker (born 18 February 2002) is an Indian sport shooter. She has won 2 medals at the Olympic Games, 7 medals at the Asian Games and Asian Championships, and 22 medals at the World Championships and World Cups.
Summary
Manu Bhaker became the first Indian woman to win an Olympic medal in shooting with a bronze at Paris 2024 in the women’s 10m air pistol event. It came a day after she became the first female shooter to reach an Olympic final in an individual event in 20 years. A pistol malfunction had denied Manu Bhaker a shot at a medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics in the same event.
