Event Description
Sheetal Devi is a world-renowned Indian para-archer from Kishtwar, Jammu & Kashmir, who has gained global recognition as the world's only active female international archer to shoot without arms. Internationally, she was the first Indian ever to be named the Best Youth Athlete by the Asian Paralympic Committee in Riyadh, following her triple-medal performance at the Hangzhou Asian Para Games.
Summary
Born with Phocomelia, Sheetal entered a world that often measures ability by what is present. Yet, Sheetal chose to be measured by what she possesses in abundance: courage, precision, and an iron will. Where others saw a lack of arms, Sheetal saw an opportunity to master the impossible.
